Client Stories

What became clear.
What changed.

A pattern finally put into words. A need brought into view. A different response when an old conflict returns.

These are our clients’ stories.

01 / Gifted reports

In their own words.

Andrea: One sentence stopped her.

“Being right does not eclipse being received.”

When Andrea read that sentence in her written report, she said:

“That makes me really emotional, because I can see how many times in my life my focus on being precise and right—and it wasn’t right to make you wrong, it was the truth version of right, like, no, this is the data, can’t you see the data—and how many times that eclipsed how I was received.

“So that really landed very deeply.”

Later, she explained what the experience gave her:

Andrew: “Where did you get this information from?”

Andrew came through a referral and hadn’t known CK before. After getting his written report, he said on a call with CK:

“And there's the skeptic in me that's just like, what the hell? And where did you get this information from?”
“Like, this is very, very eerily relevant. Yeah, it's nice to be seen.”

Jack: What was he really chasing?

Jack remembered rejecting business ideas because they weren’t big enough to become billion-dollar companies.

Reflecting on his written report, he asked:

He began connecting that ambition with a need he rarely expressed:

“I just— the recognition, or maybe the— the worthiness of feeling like I did something that was, like, worth noticing. So maybe that's the connection to the needing to feel valued.”
03 / Helm

Respond differently when the pattern returns.

Helm is private coaching with CK to help you change how those patterns play out in your decisions, relationships, and everyday habits.

The following stories come from CK’s prior coaching work.

Vicky: “We resolved it.”

Vicky described a progression: building a daily practice, using it under pressure, and responding differently in a real conflict.

1. The practice became part of her day.

“The gratitude and mental-dumping practices became second nature. I just do them every night. I’m more accepting of myself—whatever I do, it’s good enough for me.”

2. She used it when work became stressful.

“Keeping cool takes a very conscious decision. Even during a stressful workday, I remembered: ‘Breathe. Stay calm. Breathe.’”

3. She approached a conflict differently.

After a later coaching session, Vicky described what happened:

“I had a civil conversation. I started by apologizing for being defensive and explained why I reacted so quickly. We resolved it.”

Returning to what mattered in a difficult decision

During a stressful negotiation, Vicky revisited the outcomes she and CK had written down.

“I was getting very upset. But when I read the outcomes we had written down, I realized the negotiation was hitting most of what I wanted. That was very helpful.”

Additional coaching perspectives

“This coaching helped me see the possibilities in letting go and finding fulfillment along the way.”
