Keep building your business.
Live the life you’re building it for.

Private coaching for founders who want to move the business forward without continuing to sacrifice the rest of their life.

Together, we understand what keeps happening under pressure, find a response that fits your circumstances, and put it into practice.

Founder experience

Experience alongside founders.

I served as founder coach and Head of Culture while a company grew from 15 to 250 people and reached a $2 billion valuation.

“My time with CK was a journey of profound self-discovery and impactful leadership.”— Ross McCray, founder of VideoAmp

The cost of carrying it all

You can be successful and still be paying too much for it.

Your company needs you. You care about the commitments that matter, and every decision to put business first has a reason.

Each choice can make sense in the moment. Over time, the same parts of life may keep paying the bill.

Health and personal practices

Another evening goes to the business. The workout, rest, or practice that supports you gets postponed again.

Family and relationships

Your partner or children may receive the distracted version of you, or whatever attention remains after work.

Quick relief, another cost

When you are tired, stretched, or alone, a habit that helps you switch off may begin creating another cost.

Your actual life

Bring what keeps repeating.

The meeting that ran late.

The commitment you dropped.

The argument at home.

The decision you keep postponing.

The habit used for relief.

We examine what happened, what you were trying to protect or achieve, what you assumed, what the situation demanded, and what got displaced.

Sometimes the decision served a real need. Sometimes a familiar pattern narrowed the options you could see. Often, both are true.

A shared process

Find a response that fits your reality.

01

Regulate

Create enough space to think clearly under pressure.

02

Integrate

Consider the full situation, including competing needs, relationships, assumptions, and timing.

03

Decide

Choose a response that fits your circumstances.

04

Engage

Put your response into practice, observe what happens, and adjust. If you choose to wait, decide what you are watching for and when to revisit.

RIDE gives us a repeatable way to understand the situation and discover an appropriate response.

That response may be a conversation, boundary, agreement, support structure, environmental change, deliberate pause, or something else entirely.

You choose it. I help you examine it.

Practice and adjustment

Learn from what happens next.

You put your response into practice, then bring back what happened.

What helped? What became difficult? What did you learn about yourself, the people involved, or the situation?

When an attempt goes badly, bring that too. It gives us something specific to understand.

A useful next step may be a conversation or boundary. It may also be gathering information or deliberately waiting while you watch for the right conditions to revisit the situation.

Across the engagement, I keep track of what you are working toward, notice what keeps repeating, and help you learn and adjust without losing your direction.

Your progress

Know what progress looks like.

At the beginning, you identify what progress means for you. The work returns to it across the engagement.

Possible signs of progress may include:

What is changing in how you respond?

You keep a commitment during a difficult week. Speak before resentment builds. Ask for support. Make a decision you have been postponing. Recognize when a pause is wiser than force.

How is your experience of life changing?

You feel more present. More grounded. More able to enjoy what you have built. More trusting of your own judgment.

Beyond the engagement

A way of navigating you can keep using.

You practice understanding the situation, recognizing your pattern, finding where you have influence, and learning from your response.

The aim is progress on what matters now and a stronger ability to find your way as life changes.
